Hepburn has an abundance of walking tracks. Old Hepburn Post Office is located opposite 18th Street, which leads down to the blowhole, a 2 minute drive away. Bush walking tracks to the spa complex are situated close by down the end of 17th Street.

The complex offers mineral, herbal, mud and bubble baths and massage (Bookings are necessary). The various mineral spas are located by the complex, and it is a tranquil and picturesque place to enjoy a picnic, BBQ or a snack from the Kiosk.

Hepburn has a scenic 18 hole golf course where it is not unusual to see a kangaroo or two and lots of birds. Other local attractions include the Wombat Hill botanical gardens, the Sunday market and tourist railway, the Convent Gallery, the Museum, the Bowing Club, grass tennis courts, horse riding, and boating on Lake Daylesford. Don't miss a trip to Lavendula Lavender Farm at Shepherds Flat, 5km past Old Hepburn.

The townships of Daylesford and Hepburn have many craft and antique shops, nurseries, bookshops, home-made sweets shops and many fine eating places. The town is packed with historic features, fresh mountain air, an old goldmining history and Swiss Italian heritage.
